At the Center for Biological Diversity, we believe that the welfare of human beings is deeply linked to nature ' to the existence in our world of a vast diversity of wild animals and plants. Because diversity has intrinsic value, and because its loss impoverishes society, we work to secure a future for all species, great and small, hovering on the brink of extinction. We do so through science, law and creative media, with a focus on protecting the lands, waters and climate that species need to survive.

We want those who come after us to inherit a world where the wild is still alive.

The Center for Biological Diversity is looking for a permanent full-time digital campaign producer in our Organizing Department. Preference will be given to applicants who are in Portland, Oregon, Oakland, California, Tucson, Arizona or Washington, D.C. Remote may be considered for exceptional candidates.

Ignite Change is the Center for Biological Diversity's national network for grassroots action that's standing up for wildlife, wild places and a livable planet. • Pull and present data for reporting and analysis. Develop and track meaningful metrics by which we can measure our success.
  • Make sure we have timely access to key information about the performance of our online communications and health of our digital ecosystem.
  • Inspire and engage our volunteers and supporters in strategic campaigns to protect wildlife, wild lands, and our air, water and climate.
  • Support our distributed-organizing and field campaigns with other digital tools as needed, including social media, peer-to-peer texting, webinars and other platforms.

  • Undergraduate degree and/or at least three years of experience in a digital program;
  • Experience with digital tools including CRM databases (Action Kit or EveryAction NGP/VAN preferred), social media and web platforms;

  • Good familiarity with image editing and ability to wrangle graphics for email, web and social media;
  • Strong analytics and data management skills, plus comfort with Excel [Google Sheets];
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with team members and volunteers;
  • A proven ability to edit copy into clear, concise, persuasive writing on tight deadlines;
  • Exceptional organizational skills and capacity to prioritize several tasks without letting anything fall through the cracks;
  • Keen attention to detail;
  • A passion for, and demonstrated commitment to, biodiversity, wildlife and environmental justice;
  • Experience with campaign planning and strategy preferred.

 Expectations:

  • Be committed to protecting the environment and social justice.
  • Have a passion for creating and growing engaged movements.
  • Be a good teammate and colleague. We value teamwork and expect each member of the team to have a "can do" attitude and a willingness to help when/where needed.
  • Enjoy working in a dynamic, fast-paced workplace where plans can change daily.
  • Be committed to winning. To us that means being accountable for outcomes, being willing to test your ideas against reality and adapt if your approach isn't working, and being willing to do whatever it takes to accomplish our goals.

Benefits package:

  • Paid generous medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance
  • 403(b) plan with opportunity for match
