The Center is currently looking for a full-time People Services (HR) Coordinator.  This position is located in Tucson, Arizona.

General position overview:

The People Services Coordinator provides assistance with and facilitates the People Services function across the organization. This role provides administrative support to the following People Services areas:  Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), benefits, talent acquisition, compliance and training.

Primary duties:

  • Assists with benefits administration to include enrollments, changes and terminations. Processes required information through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record-keeping and proper deductions.
  • Respond to staff, insurance carrier and vendor inquiries.
  • Recruitment, onboarding and separation activities.
  • Time and Attendance coordination.
  • Electronic and Hard copy file management to include HRIS data entry and maintenance; copy mail, scan, email and file documents; and performs other administrative functions.
  • Assist and/or lead the creation and implementation of various People Services projects.

Essential qualities, qualifications and skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or related field.  An equivalent combination of relevant Human Resource Management experience and education may be considered.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software such as Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or PHR certification preferred.
  • Exceptional organizational, collaborative, communication and partnering skills.
  • Experience with Paychex Flex software a plus!
  • Prior Human Resource Management experience in a non-profit, member-supported organization preferred.
